PASIFIKA CHRISTMAS
We had the opportunity to visit the Corban Arts Estate last week for a 'Pasifika Christmas' workshop.........we were shown (and were able to try it for ourselves!) the art of Pacific drumming and dancing. We also made some Pacific 'Angels/Fairies' out of native materials...all organic according to the tutor!

This looks awesome! Recently went to a Christmas service that had lots of maori/pacific dancing/performing and it made the whole service so alive and fun! I am really loving watching Kiwis make Christmas more their own this year!
