Hello.......no we haven't disappeared off the face of earth!!! You might like to have a look over here.........I decided to have a go at a Wordpress blog beginning way back in February but you might find me back here before long! There is a lot to learn and if anyone wants to give some practical hints on getting the best out of Wordpress they are most welcome!

I love seeing the Pohutukawa trees blossom at Christmas. It makes me feel like it really IS summer, at last. Our own backyard one lit up this week:-)

We had a fun night with the T family last night.

The children put on a 'Christmas Concert' for the Dads.........

the youngest 'angels' recited a favourite poem called 'Ooey Gooey'........

and these two had fun with jingle bells on the piano!

and then there were mothers creating in the kitchen, look at the bottom of that bowl, guess where it landed!!! Nothing than couldn't be disguised by cream and berries!!!!

Well done everyone! Great effort for only 48 hours prep!!!!

We had the opportunity to visit the Corban Arts Estate last week for a 'Pasifika Christmas' workshop.........we were shown (and were able to try it for ourselves!) the art of Pacific drumming and dancing. We also made some Pacific 'Angels/Fairies' out of native materials...all organic according to the tutor!
